be able to see the latest version available for a specific tools.
This is an extra: be able to add the current version for a tool in my stack and notify me if a new version is available for a tool in my stack.
I think the extra one can be tricky to implement but can be convenient if a new took release a mandatory/security update and see if I one of my tool need to be updated.

I'm hesitant to doing this, because it would increase the maintenance effort on the data significantly, unless there'd be an automatic way to get this data (which I'm not aware of). Something that I am considering though is to allow people to specify which (major) version of a tool they're using, e.g. for macOS are you on macOS Ventura or Sonoma etc.
